tiddly inks challenge just be me

i am a person who wears her heart on her sleeve. this has led me into some very interesting situations, good & bad. i am a person who finds peace & rejuvenation looking up into a starry sky. i am a person who has had hard times through life & i am grateful that i have been blessed with the gifts of optimism, perseverance & resilience to get me through those times. i am grateful to be smart enough to learn my lessons from my mistakes before things would get too out of hand. i have made past choices that make me cringe today. & i hope that i teach my kids better so that they don't make the same mistakes. that being said, i know that i wouldn't be who i am if it weren't for all of my past. thus the sentiment of not being able to change the past but being able to make new ending is something that i hold dear. i try not to judge people because i have never walked a mile in their shoes.

i am empathetic. i am loyal to those i hold close to me. i am very lucky to have the love of my husband & 2 beautiful kids. & i find that i need an outlet for ingenuity to be expressed. thus i knit, crochet, scrapbook, make cards, bake & cook. i am many things & wear many hats. i am a wife, a mom, a daughter, a friend, a crafter, a baker, & an acupuncturist. this is pretty much who i am. i am not perfect. but who would want to be that boring. my life is good. there may be bumps, but with a wonderful home with a great husband , 2 amazing kids, my crazy dog, & dear cat  i can't complain.

when i sit down to make any card i always end up having a story in it. & this card is no exception.

i  used tiddly inks images belinda, fairy fae catches a star, & treasure map. i used mickey & friends cricut cart to cut out the stars. i used acrylic paints to make the background. i colored the images with copics, distress inks, & stickles. to make fairy fae more dimensional i layered her wings.

thanks for stopping by. i hope that you enjoy the look of my blog. i had a lot of fun designing it. until next time : )

Oh Jen, I love your card! It reminds me of Starry Night by van Gogh. Well, from what I know of you I think you are a wonderful person! You have a very unique style and I think it is awesome! I would totally pick this one for a Top 5! =D
Also, I didn't know you are an acupuncturist!?!?! One of my good friends said I should go have acupuncture because she said it helped her get pregnant after years of no luck. =D
