farm fresh challenge: sew easy

i do enjoy sewing. i love to embroider things. i am not that good at making clothes, but i must admit i made a super cute skirt for my daughter.  for my girls i made them both quilts with lots of embroidry. i have made drapes for the house & other knick knacks. for this challenge we had to use stitches real or faux. i pulled out my sewing machine....

& pieced together some of my scrap material for one of the layers & stitched around it. for the background i used a hero arts stamp & distress inks. i used my copics to color the girlie & the heart. i also added stickles on the heart. for the buttons i used liquid pearls to color them & used the butterfly stamp from the spotlight kit with distress inks & stickles. then i topped the butterfly with glossy accents.

hope you all are having a good week so far. i am in a de-cluttering mood & have been busy sorting through stuff. it is truly a neverending project.

thanks for stopping by! i look forward to next time.
